About Pru

Pru: Prudence Jekyll is a fictitious character; an avatar in a 3D virtual world called "Second Life". The person behind the character is real, of course, but I choose to go by a pseudonym to retain some semblance of privacy.

Who is Prudence Jekyll?

I chose the name "Prudence" because of the Beatles' song, Dear Prudence. I chose the surname "Jekyll" because of my appreciation for Gertrude Jekyll, (not the doctor from Stevenson's novella).

As Prudence I play the role of a nomadic minstrel, living the bohemian life as I explore, meet people, and share my love of music with others in Second Life.
